The McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility was established to be a visible, dynamic expression of the commitment of King's College to form graduates who will champion the inherent dignity of every person and mobilize their talents and skills to serve the common good. In the conviction that excellent higher education requires a faculty actively engaged in scholarship and public discourse, the Center invigorates the intellectual life of the College through lectures and panel discussions, conferences, faculty development workshops, faculty-student research opportunities, and Zeal: A Journal for the Liberal Arts.
