APPLICATION PROCESS FOR TRANSFER

Apply for admission - you must first be accepted before any aid can be awarded to you. Upon acceptance, new transfer students will be considered for scholarship.

File a Renewal FAFSAFile the FAFSA online here after December 31, 2023. When completing the FAFSA, remember to list King's College as your school choice and include our federal school code 003282.  If completing the FAFSA online and you are a dependent student, parents must provide consent to their information being used on the FAFSA. They must also complete their portion of the FAFSA separately, using their FSA ID. The student will invite the parent(s) to complete their portion. It can be signed electronically using a Federal Student Aid Idenitifcation (FSAID). The student and one parent can create the FSAID Account online here.

PA State Grant recipients - the FAFSA is also used to determine eligibility for the PA State Grant for Pennsylvania residents. It must be filed by May 1, 2024 by renewal applicants. Please don't miss this important filing deadline. Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency may request additional information from you. If requested, please respond promptly. For timely correspondence, we recommend creating an account with PHEAA at Account Access.

Beginning 2024-2025, PHEAA will have a new website called GrantUs. They will email eligibile students with account instructions

SCHOLARSHIP CONSIDERATION - upon acceptance, students transferring to King's College will be considered for King's College academic scholarships. Criteria used to determine scholarship eligibility includes the high school academic record, SAT or ACT scores, as well as the college transcript.

In late December,  notification of financial aid offers  will be emailed to the student's email address listed on their application for admission. A text notification will also be sent to students, who have provided a mobile phone number.  Financial aid offers will contain any scholarships offered to you by King's as well as your eligibility for federal, state and other college aid. 

Your application may be selected for verification by the federal processor. If selected, we are required to verify the accuracy of the data you provided on your FAFSA. If selected, you will be required to provide additional information to us. Please respond promptly to all requests for information as it may impact your eligibility for aid.
