Community is important at King's College because we believe your success depends upon an environment that's as nurturing as it is enriching. Students come to King's from across the country and around the world to find an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
From the minute you step foot on campus, you'll feel the positive energy as people say hello, offer directions and stop to talk. Everywhere you look you'll find friendly faces that welcome you as the person you are and encourage you to grow into the person you want to be.
You'll feel safe on our attractive campus that is also convenient: you can walk from your residence hall to your class in less than five minutes. All of this, plus the beautiful surroundings and impressive facilities, are what make King's a comfortable home away from home.
What really makes King's so special is the strong sense of engagement you'll have with your fellow students, faculty members and the community. You'll find encouragement and support everywhere and it begins the minute you decide to join us. Admissions and financial aid counselors help you navigate your arrival to campus, a welcome team will help you find your way and our First Year Experience helps you make the transition to college life a smooth one.
Because your professors know and care about you, they will make sure you stay on track and have everything you need to succeed. Your academic advisor will keep your interests front and center, guiding your coursework so that you graduate in four years. If you need additional assistance, the Academic Skills and Writing Centers are there for you. Residence hall advisors and our Counseling Center are available to provide non-academic support should you need it.
The Office of Campus Ministry provides a spiritual and supportive role in our students' lives, and the Office of College Diversity supports the identity of every student while promoting and celebrating a multicultural environment on campus.
