Join us in New York City for the fourth annual presentation of the Rev. James Lackenmier, C.S.C., Award for Achievement and Leadership honoring Glenn Tyranski, CPA, '84. The New York Athletic Club located on Central Park South will be the setting for the cocktail reception and award dinner on Thursday, October 19, 2017.  The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Preceding the award dinner will be the William G. McGowan School of Business (MSB) Forum now celebrating its 13th year of mentoring students by leaders in the business field, most of whom are King's graduates.  Since 2005 approximately 85 students a year have participated in the mentoring session followed by a networking reception and formal dinner.  The Forum rotates annually between New York, Philadelphia and Wilkes-Barre.

The Rev. James Lackenmier, C.S.C., Award for Achievement and Leadership was established in honor of King's seventh president, Rev. James Lackenmier, C.S.C., in recognition of his 18 years of leadership.  The Lackenmier Award honors a member of the King's College community who has achieved excellence in his/her field, who has demonstrated exceptional philanthropy and high ethical standards, and who embodies the spirit of King's College.  Our past recipients are Timothy Morris '64, Richard J. Pinola '67 and Director Emeritus, Allan M. Kluger, Esq.

Tickets prices are $300 per person or $150 per person for young alumni (graduation 2007-2017). Sponsorship and program opportunities are also available. Please see side navigation for more information. Proceeds raised through the Lackenmier Award Dinner support The Presidential Hope Fund, which provides funding for deserving students who require additional financial assistance in order to continue or complete their undergraduate studies at King's College and who demonstrate a commitment to their academic studies as well as have proven to be productive members of the King's community.  For more information, please contact Patrice Persico, Event Coordinator, at (570) 208-5972 or patricepersico@kings.edu.
